This special iron is rugged and very durable, offering double the strength compared to most grey cast irons. This superior material gives the bell great shock absorption and toughness.

The Inch Bell Replica weighs approximately 172#. The handle, which is now made from solid machined steel to be perfectly round, has a width of 2 3/8" and the length is 4".

The surface of the bell has a flat black textured cast iron finish. It is advised to occasionally spray on a clear enamel paint like Rust-Oleum flat clear protective enamel spray, or a color of your choice, on the dumbbell for surface rust protection.
